'Can't wait' praise Pepsi fans as flavor exclusively in Taco Bell for 20 years moves to stores after
SODA lovers are in for a tropical treat this winter.
Fans of Mountain Dew's fizzy flavor exclusively sold at Taco Bell stores or during summer months — you can get it in more places.
Soda giant PepsiCo poured a thrilling announcement onto its Mountain Dew Baja Blast fans.
HAPPY BAJAVERSERY
In honor of its 20 year "bajaversery," the brand is selling bottles of the flavor at nationwide food stores all year.
"MTN DEW BAJA BLAST has cemented its place as a fan-favorite flavor in pop culture and as a staple in countless Taco Bell orders, so we knew we had to celebrate its 20th anniversary in a big way," JP Bittencourt, vice president of marketing at Mountain Dew said in an announcement.
"Thank you to all the BAJA BLAST lovers over the last 20 years. Because of you, everyone nationwide can now buy the beloved flavor in-stores and as always, at Taco Bell, all year long and earn rewards while doing so... that's a win-win."

A corporate head from Taco Bell also reflected on the partnership.
"Taco Bell and MTN DEW BAJA BLAST have become an iconic duo satisfying the cravings of our fans for the past 20 years, and it's been an extraordinary journey," said Taylor Montgomery, Taco Bell's chief marketing officer.
"As we embark on this BAJAVERSARY celebration with our friends at MTN DEW, we look forward to providing our loyal fans with more epic experiences and rewards to continue fueling their love for MTN DEW BAJA BLAST!"
Executives also urged soda drinkers to look out for the Baja Blast flavors during this year's lineup of Super Bowl commercials.

But a few cola pop lovers had some questions.
DEW NOT STOP
"So does that mean the Hard Mountain Dew Baja Blast pack will be available all of 2024 too, or will that still be seasonal?"
One user claimed they've already seen the flavor for sale at their local supermarket, posting, "Just found cans at my Giant Eagle!!"
"I saw them at Safeway earlier today," someone else wrote.
"Baja Blast will be permanently available in the US outside Taco Bell until 2025," one person said.
"So basically not forever, but a pretty big jump from only being available during summertime."

"I’m pretty sure they acquired the rights from Taco Bell to permanently sell Baja going forward," one person noted.
